Marco Schnabel is heading back to high school for his next project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schabel has signed on to direct Girlfriend in a Coma for Fox Atomic.

Larry Stuckey wrote the script and, while plot details haven't been revealed, the script will revolve around an unconventional romance. Schnabel and Stuckey both met while working under director Jay Roach on the 2004 film Meet the Fockers, on which Schnabel was the second unit director and Stuckey was the associate producer.

Michael McCullers will produce the film and no production schedule has been released as of yet.
