Marc Rocco has signed on to direct the noir drama, The Killer Inside Me for Chris Hanley's Muse Film Prods; Robert Weinbach wrote the screenplay and is co-producing through his Cyclone Productions.

The film is an adaptation of 1952 Jim Thompson novel about a deputy sheriff in a West Texas town whose kind Everyman demeanor masks his true dark self. He is slowly revealed as a psychotic killer, says Variety.

A fall start of production is being scheduled for The Killer Inside Me; no casting has been set.
