ABC has pulled the struggling rookie comedy Man Up from its schedule, effective immediately. Production has already wrapped on the 10-episode order, and it is not known when the network may air the last two episodes.

The show premiered on October 18 to a solid 2.4 rating with 7.7 million viewers tuning in, although the comedy has slipped significantly since then. Last night's Episode 1.08: Men and Their Chickens, posted a series low 1.6 rating with just 4.8 million viewers overall.

ABC will air repeats of Last Man Standing in Man Up's Tuesday 8:30 PM time slot until the end of the year. The new series Work It will take over the time slot when it premieres on Tuesday, January 3.

Man Up stars Dan Fogler, Mather Zickel, and series creator Christopher Moynihan. The show centers on three men trying to reconnect with their inner 'tough guy' to redefine the modern man.

This was a very funny show, I am sorry to see it canceled. Stereotypes are a way of life people and without them we are all the same, very dull and boring. Learn to laugh at yourselves and quit being so sensitive. Man up was a smart, satire of life and a very needed comedy. My wife and I and my buddies will truly miss this show. The female clothed men "Work It" comedy may be better for the rest of you gender afraid people but not for anyone that I know (Grow a pair already). Work It will be another failed attempt. Man Up deserved a chance and a full season if not more.

The more these awful gender-stereotype sitcoms fail the happier I get.
