@themoviefanatic I feel like they are rushing it... They need to set up their characters and bring them together like the Avengers did... People can say they are copying all they want, but that is the only way it can work... I think Batman should be left out and have the movie end with Superman flying into Gotham, leaving the suspense into the next one... I feel like Batman is too fresh and established to include him right away

@mcleve02 I don't believe Nolan will have the involvement, but I do think the influence once they begin to tie the DC Universe characters together will be there. Superman, just a sneaky feeling, will be the start to all of it. Beyond that they'd have to reboot Batman to fit into the folds of the universe and allow it to blend with various characters. Green Lantern would have to be rebooted as well as several introductions to other characters who have yet to see the big screen--whether they are cameo appearances or stand alone. I think there is a formula that others would aspire to follow in bringing the projects to life. Although it may not be a to the letter blueprint the production value of these movies will have to undoubtedly be handled with great care. I don't think the Justice League movie would be as interesting or pulse pounding as The Avengers, but then again, I didn't have high hopes for The Avengers until I'd seen the progression of it. It's just fun now to speculate what the future may hold for various DC titles.

@mieko-siede agreed, but I wonder if Nolan is willing to have any involvement with JLA... to date I believe he says no! I just don't, personally, think JLA will be anywhere as good as The Avengers.. Batman I have always felt is very out of place there, as he is a stand alone hero... and the end always seems to be the same.. The burden to win always falls on Superman's shoulders

@mcleve02 I agree. I think Nolan has it in him to put his stamp on another franchise. It's already apparent from what footage we have seen that his influence in the film is more than slight. Anything can go down hill, but with his hand guiding it I think this stands a chance of being the next highly anticipated series leading into some very promising directions for other franchise titles. Especially if they truly intend on doing a Justice League film that rivals Marvel's The Avengers.
