Man of Steel Poster Reveals a Handcuffed Superman!

Last month, we reported that Warner Bros. is using this week's Blu-ray and DVD release of The Dark Knight Rises to unleash a special treat from the studio's upcoming superhero adventure Man of Steel. Fans were asked to share a countdown clock for The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray in order to unlock this new material. Today, the promotion is over and the studio has unveiled the new poster for Man of Steel. What's even more intriguing is that Henry Cavill is seen as Superman, being lead away in handcuffs! What does this mean? Stay tuned to find out.

Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

    One thing is for sure, Henry Cavill was made to play this part. Of anyone has ever looked the part its him. His entire build is exactly how Superman should look. I think he will take this character to new heights.

    The poster is awesome. I can't wait for this film to be released. You got Goyer, Nolan, and Snyder working on this film; its bound to be awesome. I'm hoping DC and Warner Bros. just goes ahead and connects this film to Nolans Batman trilogy and then they put out Justice League. With the success of the Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel can be just as successful and can take place in the same universe. Marvel Studios thinks they have it in the bag, but I give it a few more years and DC will be back on the map, and Marvel Studios will be sh*tting themselves.

    That chest logo looks kinda dumb, or way to big., feels a bit to cartoonish, They should have went with a much smaller faded color, like dark blue,/navy blue, a tach of red/org, Other than that, the poster looks ok i guess, but still wauting for a full trailer.

    Perhaps The Wolverine, @avian005, but I'm waiting for a trailer to judge how they handle the Japan storyline. There's The Wolf of Wallstreet that comes to mind in terms of dramatic movies. I'm drawing a bit of a blank at the moment, to be honest.
