Man of Steel and DC Universe bombshell dropping soon
Its anybody's guess as to what big news they hold in their possession. Early speculation is that they will be announcing Justice League of America casting that could include Man of Steel's Henry Cavill, even though Zack Snyder has been adamant that his Superman adventure will not be tied to this DC Comics ensemble. He was also adamant that Zod wouldn't be appearing in the Man of Steel reboot, and we all know how that turned out.
Single day tickets for Saturday, June 11th are $45, and include an on stage interview with Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, as well as a double feature of Superman and Superman II, which will be followed by an onstage interview with Richard Donner.
The Hero Complex Film Festival will run from June 9-12 at the Chinese Six Theatre at Hollywood and Highland. If you don't live in Los Angeles, can't make it, or don't feel like dropping $45 just to hear how Henry Cavill and Christian Bale are headlining Justice League of America, be sure to check back in with us on June 11th, as we will have the breaking news as soon as its announced.
Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

I would not mind seeing Henry Cavill be Superman for a JLA movie, I doubt Chris Bale will be Batman as TDKR will be his last Batman film. Wouldn't bother me if they recast Batman. I think Henry should be used for a JLA movie and not be re-casted. Maybe a JLA movie will help set up for a reboot Batman and solo movies for Wonder Woman and maybe The Flash.

I'm pretty sure they are rushing a Justice League movie to compete with The Avengers. Granted, it may be released a year or so later, but its still a competition.

im gonna get lectured for saying this but I think Michael Rosenbaum should play Lex. he too me is the best at that role and can be pure evil. plus he has other work with DC. that would be awesome.

JLA doesn't need to follow the same pattern Marvel has with setting up its characters. And I'm sure they will go with different people for the JLA movie since I don't see Bale playing as Batman. Would be cool if they used him and Cavill and Reynolds. Then find someone for owner woman and martian manhunter and flash. They can do spin off movies about them after

Actually, they say it has to do with the movie world of the DCU. I would bet this is them finally caving on the issue and announcing that all of the movies will somehow connect to a larger DCMovieU, starting with 'Man of Steel' but likely using 'Green Lantern' as a reference point.
