Harry Lennix joins Man of Steel
Harry Lennix will play General Swanwick, a high-ranking military officer. No further details were given about the character, or what his role in the plot may be.
Man of Steel is shooting later in the year for a set December 2012 release date. General Swanwick will most likely get his own action figure.
Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

@dan1...Actually not, Lennix was in an episode where he played a paralyzed jazz trumpet player, the person who told u that got him mixed up with Joe Morton [ Miles Dyson in Terminator 2 ] , he played a Senator named Gary Wright, who was a presidential candidate...he wasnt Obama :]

@thedude-abides....True, he would be perfect for the role if they ever made a biopic of Obama...but you know whos been basically on Obama's nuts, literrally on his hands n knees to wanna play Obama in a biopic...heres a hint, he has a son and daughter who swear they are actors/musicians, but they are just plain annoying, and are friends with Justin Bieber :P

I've always thought this guy would be perfect if they ever decided to make a Barrack Obama biopic. The picture doesn't really do him justice, but looks and sounds just like him. It's uncanny.
