Channing Tatum reveals Magic Mike 2 is in the works
The natural question is, will there be a sequel? According to the actor, they are working on the story.
"Yes, yes and yes! We're working on the concept now. We want to flip the script and make it bigger."
The actor's producing partner Reid Carolin wrote the script for Magic Mike, based on Channing Tatum's days as a 19-year-old male stripper in Tampa. It isn't known if Reid Carolin is working on the sequel, or if they plan on bringing new writers in. It's also too early to tell at this point if Steven Soderbergh will be back to direct a follow-up.
And who knows what Channing Tatum means by 'flipping the script'? Is the sequel going to be female dancers? We've seen that already. It was call Showgirls and Striptease, and they were flops. Big flops. Bigger flops than my fat mama can make in the pool! I, for one, want more male strippers! Please! Bring on those assless chaps, Channing Tatum!
Magic Mike was released June 29th, 2012 and stars Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, Olivia Munn, Alex Pettyfer, James Martin Kelly, Cody Horn, Reid Carolin, Avery Camp. The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh.

who wants to see a film like this, the trailer looked awful and a sequel is pushing it. Channing has no talent in front or off screen, he should stick to retail work or just be a boxer.
