It's going to be bigger than Transformers, I tell you. Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery is the next popular toy headed to the big screen, and I predict that it will make bank. According to Variety, the film has finally found it's co-star in Madison Davenport.

The young actress recently joined the New Line film. She will be appearing alongside Abigail Breslin as Kit Kittredge's best friend. The film is based on the hugely successful American Girl doll line.

Shooting is underway as we speak, at an undisclosed location in Toronto.

Kit Kittredge: An American Girl was released June 20th, 2008 and stars Abigail Breslin, Julia Ormond, Chris O'Donnell, Jane Krakowski, Wallace Shawn, Max Thieriot, Willow Smith, Glenne Headly. The film is directed by Patricia Rozema.
