Lucasfilm is developing a CGI-Animated Musical
It was said the film is currently in pre-production at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in northern California. David Bernbaum wrote the film, although it wasn't clear if Berenbaum was writing based off an original idea by Lucas, which tends to be the case, or not.
Not much is known about the story of this new top-secret project, but it was said that the film would draw from numerous musical sources. The site reported that a rep for LucasFilm said it was "too early" to discuss further details of the project.

They're always so secretive. I'm not a big fan of musicals, but it will probably be unique given that LucasFIlm is taking it on directly at the ranch rather than just agreeing to do post-production tasks.
