According to The Hollywood Reporter, Louise Fletcher and Cicely Tyson have signed on to star in the high-definition indie Fat Rose and Squeaky for Etc...Group Entertainment. Sam Irvin will direct.

The story revolves around two women and their friendship.

Shooting on the film began Tuesday in San Jose, Calif.

"We're very excited that our script attracted these two very talented leading ladies," Etc...Group Entertainment president Stan Harris said. "We've assembled a highly experienced production team and state-of-the-art, high-definition digital technology to support our director and put a high-quality product on screen."
