It was also announced that a Complete Series set will be available on August 24 as well with all six seasons of this series in one handy set. This 38-disc DVD set will be priced at $229.99 SRP while the 36-disc BD set will be priced at $279.99 SRP. Full special features details weren't released on this Complete Series set, but it was said that there will be one whole disc full of special features that will be exclusive to this set. Since this DVD set isn't due for many months, make sure to check out the sixth and final season of Lost, which stars Matthew Fox, Naveen Andrews, Josh Holloway, Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Evangeline Lily, Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson and Mark Pellegrino in a two-hour season premiere on Tuesday, February 2.

I've put off buying any single seasons on DVD precisely because I've been waiting for the announcement of a series boxed set with new special features. Hopefully there's some retrospective stuff on it and not just all the single sets boxed together.
