Lost Season Four Extended Trailer!

ABC has released an extended trailer for the new season of Lost. Season 4 begins airing on January 31st on the television network.

    Well, the first piece is "Tho You Are Gone I Still Often Walk With You" by A Silver Mt. Zion and the last is actually "Strangers Return" by Non-Stop Music...but I can't for the life of me find the one at 0:28!

    Oh, and as for the music. There are three different cues here. I don't know what the first part of the trailer is, the middle has some standard trailer percussion music. That could be from anywhere. The last piece is Goliath by Steve Jablonsky that was composed specifically for the Pearl Harbor trailer.

    Hey DKEN, so I guess every movie with a twist is a cheat and an insult to our intelligence too. I guess you were the guy who fast forwarded to the end of The Sixth Sense because all the mystery was just too insulting to your intelligence. The fact that the show has so many literary, mythological and philosophical references makes it deeper and more intriguing than any show on TV. You can't call a show a cheat because it was carefully crafted to keep you guessing. There have been plenty of big reveals that are essential to the overall story arc.

    Lost I think lost its flavor a lil bit back. DKEN has the right idea. It was kickin cool, but the big reveals were crap and I lost intrest.

    Not only are shows like this a cheat to the audience, they are an insult to our intelligence. They build up the suspense by giving us just enough clues to keep us watching but the "big reveals" are always dissapointing. If you keep leading the audience around by the nose without giving them the carrot, they're going to finally lose interest. My advice: LOST should have ended last season and they should make a feature film to fill in the blanks between the storyline and season three's "future" finale.

    This is the greatest show to ever grace the small screen. It's amazing just how deeply emotional each characters' story arcs are. Giacchino's score every week amazes me, and I've never encountered a show that has been able to consistently hold my attention like LOST. This and Scrubs are the biggest tragedies of the writers' strike. With only 8 episodes done so far for season 4 it's gonna be a short and sweet half season.
