Looper Time Machine Photo

Director Rian Johnson is currently putting the finishing touches on his upcoming sci-fi drama Looper, which will be released September 28. The filmmaker decided to ring in 2012 with a new photo from Looper, where he is sitting inside the time machine. Take a look at this intriguing image below.

Looper stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Joe, a "looper" who disposes of criminals sent back in time from the future. The plot thickens when he recognizes one of the victims as his future self (Bruce Willis), and lets him go. Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Jeff Daniels, and Piper Perabo also star in Looper.

Looper comes to theaters September 28th, 2012 and stars Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Jeff Daniels, Piper Perabo. The film is directed by Rian Johnson.

    I've said it before on this site and I'll say it again: this is gonna be the 2012 version of Drive in the sense that it'll be Rian Johnson's claim to directing excellence, as it will be the breakout role JGL has been waiting for his entire career, a la Gosling and Winding Refn. Look at the fifth article in the 'related stories' tab. He says it himself: "It's the most important film of my career."

    This film's gonna be f*ckin' awesome.
