Look Who's Talking gets a remake
The site is reporting that producer Neal H. Moritz is shepherding the project, which is currently out to writers and a director hasn't been attached yet either. The original Look Who's Talking starred John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and the voice of Bruce Willis.
Pajiba also recently reported that 20th Century Fox is developing a film based off the E*Trade baby commercials that are currently running. It was said that Parks and Recreation writer Kate Dippold is writing the script and it was said to be a "mission" movie about a group of babies trying to make their way across a playground.
Look Who's Talking was released October 13th, 1989 and stars John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, Olympia Dukakis, George Segal, Abe Vigoda, Bruce Willis, Twink Caplan, Jason Schaller. The film is directed by Amy Heckerling.

I'm not much of a hater, and I believe in giving most projects a fair chance to show me the goods before I pass judgment, but "the goods" have already gotten off the train with this one... what the crap!? Awful awful awful idea... I pray this is wildly unsuccessful because the last thing we need is Hollywood thinking that perhaps now is the time for a Baby Geniuses reboot...

why?? (1) the first one was great! (the sequels sucked). (2) the first was was not THAT good as to merit a sequel, spinoff or relaunch/remake. (3)there is not much to remake other than recast and update the same story that was already done well once - a baby that talks. that's it. the E*Trade babies do that for free on tv for audiences.
i pass.

This is stupid, crazy and gay all rolled into one. Who thought of this idea, Kristie and John need to step in and tell them that they need to stick it and to stop stupid insane remakes.
Next thing we know Grease will be remade, I just wish someone would sue whoever thought of remakes.
