Fox cancels Lone Star
According to Deadline, Lone Star will be replaced in Fox's Monday at 9 pm timeslot by the third season of Lie to Me, which returns to the air sooner than expected.
Despite being one of the more hyped series of fall 2010, Lone Star premiered last week to a very low 1.3 rating in the 18-49 age range. Its second episode slipped even further, earning just a 1.0 rating. Deadline speculates that the series was better suited for cable, and the fact that Lone Star was developed and budgeted as a broadcast series helped push it towards such a quick demise.
Because it was on the air for such a short period, it is highly unlikely that any cable channel will pick up the production for further episodes.

I really disliked Running Wilde, sad because the cast seemed pretty good and the ads were funny. Really want to see Boardwalk Empire but of course I don't get HBO

Out of the new shows I've tried so far this year, my opinion is:
Awesome: Boardwalk Empire, Raising Hope
Good: Lone Star
Bad: The Event, Running Wilde, Undercovers

didn't watch lone star, like The Event and Chase but only on demand for the moment. lo;la was boing to watch, outlaw somewhat got my intention, anyway it just bad timeslot I say, most shows I like is on a monday and thursday, friday is the cw shows, tuesday and wednesday is I forget what's on. Oh yea No ordinary family only got me watching because I don't like watching teen drama and reality shows unless it Solitary or a good dance competition show.

Great New Shows:
1. Hawaii Five-O
2. Blue Bloods
3. Survivor (new cast, obviously not new show)
Shows that Need to Go (just like LoneStar), in no particular order:
1. The Event (bad timing, not necessarily a bad show - just too similar and close to FlashFOrward, Lost, etc.)
2. Mike and Molly (great idea... bad supporting cast and characters)
3. My Generation (ugghh... what's worse than reality tv? fake reality tv - a scripted doc*mentary about fake people)
4. Outsourced (awful... absolutely awkward and awful)
i'm sure there are more to include on that list, but those are the only ones i've tried. i want to see Boardwalk Empire and maybe Raising Hope (commercials are funny!). i also have No Ordinary Family DVR'd and plan to watch it soon - hoping that one is awesome b/c it's the one i've looked forward to the most!!!!

i started watching this online as i cant on its regular schedule and its BORING, i gave both episodes a chance and see why its not great....new shows that succeed so far is Chase and The Event on NBC...surprising that Fox cancelled a show before NBC did lol, NBC is Now Being Cancelled network, with the most cancelled shows in the last 5 yrs than any others

Fringe is the best on TV as far as I'm concerned, that and Office and 30 Rock make for a great week. Plus the fox animated shows are always fun.

Shame. I liked the first two eps and the show definitely had potential. I thought The Event, Running Wilde and Undercovers were all rather bad. Only new show i'm really liking at the moment is Raising Hope, which is hilarious and has some great characters. I've heard good things about Boardwalk Empire so might check that out soon.
