Lionsgate Gets Happily N'Ever After

Lionsgate has bought the rights to the computer-animated family comedy Happily N'Ever After.

The movie stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Sigourney Weaver, Freddie Prinze Jr., George Carlin, Wallace Shawn and Andy Dick. When Ella sees her own fairy tale take a radical turn, she sheds her damsel-in-distress trappings to lead the resistance.

Happily N'Ever After was written by Robert Moreland; it's directed by Paul J. Bolger. A 2007 release has been set.
