According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lions Gate Films has acquired all North American distribution rights to writer-director Andrew Niccol's action-thriller Lord of War, starring Nicolas Cage, Jared Leto and Ethan Hawke.

The film, now in postproduction, follows an arms dealer (Cage) who re-evaluates the morality of his occupation while on the run from an Interpol agent (Hawke).
