20th Century Fox is making some changes to its release calendar today, moving Ang Lee's Life of Pi up from December 21 to November 21, and locking in a June 28, 2013 release date for Shawn Levy's comedy The Internship.

Life of Pi is an adaptation of Yann Martel's novel, which centers on a young man who is cast adrift in a lifeboat with a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Bengal tiger. The drama will now open on Thanksgiving weekend, where it will debut against Red Dawn, Parental Guidance, Rise of the Guardians, and The Silver Linings Playbook.

We first reported on The Internship last month, when Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson signed on to star. The story centers on two old-school salesmen who try to reinvent themselves in the digital world, by becoming interns at a tech company. The comedy will square off against Universal's R.I.P.D. in the June 28, 2013 release slot.

Life of Pi was released November 21st, 2012 and stars Irrfan Khan, Suraj Sharma, Gérard Depardieu, Rafe Spall, Tabu, Adil Hussain, Shravanthi Sainath, Andrea Di Stefano. The film is directed by Ang Lee.

The Internship comes to theaters June 7th, 2013 and stars Will Ferrell, Rose Byrne, Vince Vaughn, John Goodman, Owen Wilson, Josh Gad, Joanna Garcia, Jessica Szohr. The film is directed by Shawn Levy.

    fantastic novel. Its hard for me to see how they are going to pull this off on screen but i am excited for this one. i read the book twice.
