Liam Hemsworth is one of the four finalists for A Good Day to Die Hard
Aaron Paul was mentioned in a report last month, which revealed he tested for the role. Ben Foster and Milo Ventimiglia also tested for the role, although it doesn't seem they have made the cut.
Production is scheduled to start early next year, with John Moore directing from a script by Skip Woods. Little is known about the story, other than they will shoot A Good Day to Die Hard in Russia. It is also said that Aaron Paul may have scheduling issues, since he will likely start production on the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad in early 2012 also.
A Good Day to Die Hard comes to theaters February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Cole Hauser, Yuliya Snigir, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke. The film is directed by John Moore.

Aaron Pual is brilliant in Breaking Bad and i really would love to see him get the recognition he deserves. I know the remake of Last House on the Left was crap but he was down right creepy in that. The creepiest really. But i would like to see him branch out a bit more.

I was pulling for Milo or Foster, so that's a shame. Paul is definitely the best choice out of this group. I'm still not sure why they're referring to him as John McLane's "adopted" son, when the character already had a son. Paul especially would be really believeable as John McLane's biological son.
