Leslie Bibb joins ABC dramedy pilot
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show hails from from Sex and the City executive producer Darren Star and is based on the book by Kim Gatlin.
Good Christian Bitches follows Amanda (Leslie Bibb), once the ultimate "mean girl" in high school, who returns home to Dallas after her marriage ends in scandal only to become the center of salacious gossip from the community's churchgoing wives.
Annie Potts also has joined the cast of the ABC Studios project as Gigi, Amanda's mother.
Jennifer Aspen was previously cast as one of the "bitches."
The lead role was previously offered to Christina Applegate, who passed on the project.

I like Leslie Bibb, and this idea sounds like it could make for some good comedy. I'll probably check it out if it goes to series. ABC has some good melodrama/satire series already. This sounds like it would fit nicely with something like Desperate Housewives.
