Les Miserables was released December 25th, 2012 and stars Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks. The film is directed by Tom Hooper.

Hathaway definitely doesn't have a strong voice, based on this performance, but I have a feeling she was cast more for her acting, which is not a bad thing, necessarily. No one in Sweeney Todd was a real singer.

Very much looking forward to this movie. I read a comment on YouTube that I actually agreed with. The comment said that while Anne's voice isn't exactly the strongest voice to date, she gets the character's emotion and anguish while singing perfectly. That's what I love, love, LOVE about this trailer.
