Len Wiseman to Helm Atlantis Rising

Variety reports that Len Wiseman has come on board to direct the comicbook Atlantis Rising.

The comic was created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, as "a five-part miniseries" that was published by Platinum Studios.

The plot of the movie focuses on a new race of people emerging from the depths of the ocean to battle the inhabitants of Earth.

DreamWorks is the studio behind the film.
