LeBron James Hosts SNL Premier

Have you been dying to find out who the host of this season's Saturday Night Live premiere will be? Well, look no further than LeBron James. According to Variety, the NBA star will be performing skit duty in the fall.

James helped the Cleveland Cavaliers win the NBA Finals this year. Saturday Night Live producer Steve Higgins stated, "It's nice to get people who aren't in show business to host. Sports stars tend to be less frightened because they are used to performing in a live setting."

Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers has called the pro-baller a "great sport." Meyers said, "He showed up and right off the bat wanted to do a skit where he was mean to kids."

In other casting news, executive producer Lorne Michaels has said that he is currently in talks to have Maya Rudolph rejoin the cast. At this time, he expects all eleven comedians in the current lineup to return to the show in the fall.

um one major thing ar-tard, the CAVS didnt win the NBA Finals... it was the San Antonio Spurs. They won in four games sweeping them at the cavs home court. As to why they picked the first place loser of the NBA Finals is unbeknownst to me.
