you know, in general, you can't actually compare harry potter with twilight series cause HP is for everyone and the Twilight series is for crazy girls who are obssesed with characters eho didn't exist up until the movie

I'd rather not go into how much of a demented f*ck the pedophile-poster-boy below me is, along with his very insightful, slightly perverted comment.
But to paraphrase Chester's Motto: To each his own... ;)
Right now, I agree with the Fallen. (Although, Comrade might have hit it on the head..)

The Narrator: The Better Man
I don't like HP, at least not too much, but at times it is fun and great entertainment. This is nothing close. Twilight the books are indeed a love story, or a shot at it, turning out actually more of a coming of age for vampire love story. I think I gave the books a solid 2.7 out of 5. The movie was far less. But with a different director it might be better. Or so I am told.

I don't think that "The Twilight Saga" will ever be as big as "Harry Potter." "Harry Potter's" got such a wide fan-base, from children to adults and everything in between. "The Twilight Saga's" got a bunch of screaming tween girls (And those of us, like myself, who enjoy reading it for the story and characters, rather than going to see the movies because the characters are so good looking, or reading the books because it's the latest craze, and vice versa. Not saying it's an amazing book or anything, I'm just saying it's enjoyable). I doubt that anything in this series is ever going to become quite as epic as "Harry Potter" has.

So the main question is can this movie beat harry potter. I think it might i mean after twilight came out the fan base doubled and thats insane.

Awesome all around. Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower, Dakota Fanning, and Cameron Bright are all very good choices, in my opinion, although Cameron Bright wasn't my first thought when Alec was introduced in the books. I'm sure he'll do an excellent job, though. Can't wait.
