Corbin Bernsen joins Lay the Favorite
The story is based on the memoir written by Beth Raymer, which chronicles her rise from a Las Vegas cocktail waitress to one of the best sports gamblers in the nation. Rebecca Hall is playing Beth Raymer, with Corbin Bernsen portraying her father.
Stephen Frears is directing Lay the Favorite from an adapted script by D.V. DeVincentis. Randall Emmett, D.V. DeVincentis, Anthony Bregman, and Paul Trijbits are producing.
Production is currently under way on Lay the Favorite, although a release date has not been set.
Lay the Favorite comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Bruce Willis, Laura Prepon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rebecca Hall, Vince Vaughn, Joshua Jackson, Frank Grillo, John Carroll Lynch. The film is directed by Stephen Frears.

There is something about the vegas/gambling movies that i just cant get enoughy of. If you have any interest check out Wayne Kramer's "The Cooler" which he wrote and directed. Thats the man behind the insanity of the underated Running Scared.
