Law & Order Making the Move to TNT?
It was said that NBC and TNT have set up meetings to discuss the possibility of the show moving to the cable network. The series fell just one season shy of breaking Gunsmoke's record of longest-running drama series, with both shows tied at 20 seasons.
It was said that a deal could be a "longshot" though, with the network just picking up another show canceled by Southland along with picking up the Untitled Conan O'Brien Late Night Show as well. However, the Turner network did try to acquire the Law & Order back in 2007 and it was said that NBC is crunching numbers to try and make a deal work with TNT.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any new developments surrounding Law & Order as soon as we have more information. The latest spin-off of this long-running series, Law & Order: Los Angeles will debut this fall on NBC.
