Fatwa: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lauren Holly has been elected to join the cast of the indie feature Fatwa. She joins an ensemble cast that includes Lacey Chabert, Rachel Miner, Mykelti Williamson, Angus Macfadyen, Roger G. Smith and John Doman.

Fatwa, a political thriller by first-time writer Scott Schafer, centers on the life of junior senator Maggie Davidson (Holly), who is battling personal demons and finds herself in the middle of a deadly terrorist plot.

Award-winning commercial director John Carter will make his feature debut.
