Larry King Gets Exclusive Paris Hilton Interview!
King was the benefactor of the interview after a nasty booking war broke out between ABC and NBC. ABC tried everything in its power to land the Princess of the Night Life set, even promising Barbara Walters as the interviewer. NBC countered that with a million dollar offer. A lot of bad publicity about the whole ordeal made both networks pull out at the last second.
CBS never pursued the Hilton interview, so cable was the only other choice. The exclusive interview, which will see Paris talking about her 23 day ordeal, will air on Larry King Live this Wednesday at 9 p.m.
A spokesperson for King stated, "As always with Larry, there are no ground rules and no compensation for this interview whatsoever."
Hilton stated through her publicist, "I am thrilled that Larry King has asked me to appear on his program to discuss my experience in jail, what I have learned, how I have grown and anything else he wants to talk about."
Don't forget to tell your TIVO. You won't want to miss it.
