Larry Hama to Join G.I. Joe Crew!
The G.I. Joe movie will be a modern retelling of the "G.I. Joe vs. Cobra" storyline and features the compelling characters that Hasbro created 25 years ago. The premise focuses on the G.I. Joe team, led by Duke, and their "fight for freedom wherever there is trouble" against the evil Cobra Commander and his Cobra force.
G.I. Joe has been scheduled for an August 7th, 2009 release.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was released August 7th, 2009 and stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung-hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce. The film is directed by Stephen Sommers.

Masters of the Universe is pretty ok. i would lve to see an update version of it but i agree with "err", kids nowadays wouldn't have a clue who He-Man was. which is a f*cking shame!!

oh yeah i just watched the old masters of the universe movie with dolph lundgren the other day, and was surprised by how watcheable it was. im not saying it was great, just watcheable. anyway i dont get making a new one, do kids today even know who he-man is?

WHAT!? He is the equivelant to Bob Kane (creator of Batman) and Stan Lee (the list is too damn long). He is the main storyline creator of the G.I. Joe's. The man originally behind it. I think that this is great.Who will know how this will go better than the man who created it.
