The Spectacular Now adds Kyle Chandler and three more cast members
Miles Teller stars as a popular high school senior, who tries to save an intellectual introvert (Shailene Woodley) from a life as an outcast. No character details were given for any of the new cast members. Brie Larson, Kaitlyn Dever, Masam Holden, and Dayo Okeniyi also star.
James Ponsoldt is directing from a screenplay by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber ((500) Days of Summer), which landed on the Black List in 2009. Shawn Levy and Tom McNulty are producing through their 21 Laps production company, alongside Michelle Krumm and Andrew Lauren.
No production schedule was released.
The Spectacular Now comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Brie Larson, Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller, Kaitlyn Dever, Masam Holden, Dayo Okeniyi, Kyle Chandler, Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The film is directed by James Ponsoldt.
