Kung Fu Panda Tops the National DVD Sales Charts
The title even scored off a unique two-pack which offered a full bonus animated film, Kung Fu Panda/Secrets of the Furious Five, which took the third place on the DVD sales charts. Two more new releases debuted in the top 5, with Star Wars: The Clone Wars at fourth place and This Christmas in fifth place. However, a big red machine performed strongly as well in its first week on the shelves.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army debuted on the sales charts with a strong second place to Kung Fu Panda, but scored the top spots in both the rental charts and Blu-ray sales charts, with Kung Fu Panda taking second place on both charts.
