Kristin Scott Thomas Set for Nowhere Boy

It seems that a John Lennon biopic has found The Beatles frontman's aunt. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristin Scott Thomas has signed on to the cast of Nowhere Boy. Scott Thomas will be playing Mimi, John Lennon's aunt who played a major role in who Lennon would become.

New actor Aaron Johnson will portray the young Lennon while Anne-Marie Duff has signed on to portray Lennon's mother, Julia. Sam Taylor-Wood is making his directorial debut on the film.

Nowhere Boy is set to go before cameras this March in Liverpool.

I have not heard of Aaron Johnson. Playing John Lennon is a huge role. The only thing I have against this is simply the fact that it has been done before. We know the story of John Lennon and we know how it will end. I'm a huge fan of Lennon and I hope this movie attempt will do it justice. I'm a bit nervous about it though.
