A brand new CBS pilot has found its newlywed couple lead actors. According to The Hollywood Reporter, former Smallville star Kristin Kreuk and Jack Carpenter have signed on for Hitched.

The pilot will focus on a recently-married couple (Kreuk and Carpenter) and how they deal with their family and friends. Eugene Levy recently joined the cast as well, playing Carpenter's father, an aging ladies man with an affinity for track suits and four divorces under his belt.

Chuck creator Josh Schwartz co-wrote the pilot with Matt Miller. Kreuk has recently been recurring on Schwartz's Chuck as the new girlfriend of Zachary Levi's title character.
