The Pink Panther: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kristin Chenoweth has scored her first studio acting job. The Tony winner and star of the current Broadway hit "Wicked" is close to a deal that will find her alongside Steve Martin, Kevin Kline, Beyonce Knowles and Jean Reno in MGM's The Pink Panther for helmer Shawn Levy and producer Robert Simonds.

Shooting starts next month in New York, followed by Paris. The role will keep the singer-actress busy because she will film her part in the comedy while keeping up with her Broadway duties on "Wicked."

The Pink Panther was released February 10th, 2006 and stars Steve Martin, Kevin Kline, Jean Reno, Emily Mortimer, Henry Czerny, Kristin Chenoweth, Roger Rees, Beyoncé Knowles. The film is directed by Shawn Levy.
