Kristen Wiig takes over for Anna Faris in The Skeleton Twins
The actress will portray Maggie, who reunites with her estranged twin brother Milo (Bill Hader) after they both escape death in the same day. The siblings begin to evaluate where their lives went wrong, and that they may need each other to get back on the right track. Luke Wilson also stars as Maggie's husband, described as a, "nature frat boy."
Craig Johnson (True Adolescents) is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mark Heyman (Black Swan). Stephanie Langhoff, Jennifer Lee, and Jacob Pechenik are producing, with Jared Goldman executive producing alongside the Duplass brothers.
Production will begin next month in New York City.
The Skeleton Twins comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Bill Hader, Luke Wilson, Kristen Wiig. The film is directed by Craig Johnson.
