Kristen Stewart joins the Voltage Pictures action tale Cali
The actress will play Mya, who, along with her boyfriend Chris, sells a fake snuff film of her "death" before ditching town with loads of cash. Years later, Mya is forced to return to the San Fernando Valley to save the younger sister she left behind. When the couple comes back to town, they must deal with volatile former business partners, murderous porn stars, and a stone-cold killer in a cowboy hat.
Michael Diliberti (30 Minutes or Less) wrote the sceenplay and will produce with Craig J. Flores, Zev Foreman, and Kristen Stewart, who makes her producing debut on the project. Here's what Craig J. Flores had to say about the actress signing on.
"Kristen is a talented and dynamic actor, with a proven box office draw. Her role in Cali will be edgy and sexy. It will no doubt push the envelope on the public's view of Kristen's wide-ranging abilities. Voltage is thrilled to have her as a partner on this fantastic film."
It isn't known when production will begin.

she was playing a character in Twilight, she was asked to play it without emotions. She's a good actress just not great, of all the actors that were in that Twilight series only her and Robert were watchable.

the 1st time i saw her, it was in "panic room", she did such a great job in that film, (not knowing wtf she was nor did i care) Kristen Stewart has been making movies since she was younger and even tho most if not "all" of her movies are either b-c worthy, Thy are still good. I dont blame her for her acting, I think its the whole movie that fails after another, kinda like Nicolas Cage and his crappy movies.

I like Kristen, but her "box-office draw" comes from Twilight, and not much acting was needed for Bella. Basically played herself :p Still, like I said, I like her, so I'll watch it
