Universal has invited Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman to take a Couples Retreat, joining the Jon Favreau-scripted and Peter Billingsley-directed comedy that stars Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman and Faizon Love.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story revolves around four couples who go to a tropical island resort, with one couple working on their marriage and the others sucked into the resort's couples therapy.

Bell is playing Bateman's wife, Davis plays Favreau's wife, and Akerman plays Vaughn's.

The movie will shoot in Bora Bora and Los Angeles.

Couples Retreat was released October 9th, 2009 and stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Faizon Love, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis, Kali Hawk. The film is directed by Peter Billingsley.
