Kings Gets Dumped to Saturday Nights
The show's Sunday night timeslot will be replaced with an extra hour of Dateline, which actually posted better ratings than the first year drama, with a 1.5 rating in the half-hour before the latest Kings episode, which only managed a 1.1 rating this past Sunday.
The eight Kings episodes that remain this season will now be seeon on Saturday nights at 8 PM ET, beginning on April 18.

i didnt even know it was a full on series, i thought it was a mini-series.
never watched it anyway, im pretty faithful to the fox sunday night lineup.

further evidence the "creative" heads at NBC haven't a clue what they're doing. they have this ingenious show that is well cast and well written and give it B-movie treatment. Sad. I agree... HBO would have done better with this show - most of the major networks don't know how to handle good shows.

At least it didn't get canceled, but moving it to Saturdays kind of ensures that it won't get renewed for another season, which is a shame.

This show had alot of potential, but putting it up against all the Sunday night giants was foolish. They didn't advertise this well either. It won't get renewed pending a miracle. It actually would have been a better HBO or showtime show. They could mix the scandal and the violence, along with the mystery much better and more free.
