King Kong: Deluxe Extended Edition to Hit Stores November 14

Peter Jackson can't seem to do anything small so why should a new DVD of King Kong be any different?

According to The Digital Bits, Universal just announced the release of Peter Jackson's King Kong: Deluxe Extended Edition for November 14. This will include "a 3-disc, anamorphic widescreen version and the same 3-disc version packaged in a gift box."

The regular version will sell for $34.98 and the gift box will cost $79.98. No other details about what would be in the gift box were currently available.

Lastly, Lionsgate announced their second wave of Blu-ray titles to be released on August 22. The titles will include Stir of Echoes, Stargate, Total Recall and The Devil's Rejects.

These will each sell for $29.99.

King Kong was released December 14th, 2005 and stars Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody, Thomas Kretschmann, Colin Hanks, Andy Serkis, Evan Parke, Jamie Bell. The film is directed by Peter Jackson.
