Kill Bill: Special Edition Currently on Hold

According to The Digital Bits, there is a reason why Quentin Tarantino’s much anticipated Kill Bill: Special Edition is currently taking a bit longer to come out.

It appears that when The Weinstein Bros. divorced themselves from Disney they also took with them the rights to the two Kill Bill films. As it turns out the brothers are going to release the movie through their new shingle, The Weinstein Company.

Also, The Digital Bits reports that auteur director Terrence Malick has assembled an extended version of his recent film, The New World, that should be released around March or April.
