Kiele Sanchez to Star in Football Wives
Julianna Margulies will star as the lead in Fox's drama pilot, Canterbury's Law from Sony Pictures TV and Denis Leary's Apostle. The show centers on Elizabeth Canterbury (Margulies), an edgy and seasoned defense attorney; Margulies also will serve as producer on the pilot directed by Mike Figgis.
Additionally, Frances O'Connor has signed on to star in ABC's one-hour pilot, Cashmere Mafia from Sony TV and Darren Star Productions. The show revolves around four successful female executives in New York; O'Connor will play one of the execs, a top investment banker who is struggling to balance her roles as mother, wife and Wall Street whiz.
Jonathan Cake will play two roles on NBC's comedy pilot, The Mastersons of Manhattan, a serialized soap about a wealthy family in New York, revolving around two socialite sisters. Cake will play identical twin brothers Roger and Marshall; Roger is married to one of the Masterson sisters (Natasha Richardson), while Marshall is the other sister's deceased husband.
Sara Rue is set to co-star on Fox's one-hour pilot, Nurses. It's a comedic drama about the lives and loves of a team of nurses; Rue will play one of them, a married woman who frequents online dating sites.
Aubrey Dollar has landed one of the leads in ABC's drama pilot, Women's Murder Club from 20th TV; it revolves around four women working together to solve murder cases. Dollar will play one of them, a crime reporter.
Jaime Murray will co-star opposite Ron Eldard in CBS' drama pilot, Demons. The show centers on an ex-Jesuit priest/psychologist (Eldard) who performs exorcisms; Murray will play a neurologist with a great passion for investigating the paranormal, including demonic.
Glenn Fitzgerald has joined ABC's drama pilot, Dirty Sexy Money. It centers on an idealistic young lawyer (Peter Krause) who inherits the job of representing the Darlings, a rich, powerful and ethically flexible family, after his father dies. Fitzgerald will play Brian Darling, a reverend who might be hiding some dark secrets.
