First Independent Pictures bought the rights to the music documentary, I Trust You to Kill Me.

The film follows Kiefer Sutherland on the road as the tour manager of the band Rocco DeLuca & the Burden, a band on Kiefer and Jude Cole's indie music label Ironworks. Variety notes Rocco DeLuca & the Burden's debut album, I Trust You to Kill Me, is the first release from Ironworks. Sutherland and Cole founded the indie label in 2004; Ron Sexsmith is the only other artist signed, and he has not released his album yet.

I Trust You to Kill Me will have a limited release in New York on September 8th, followed by an LA open on September 15th; it opens in San Francisco on September 29th.
