Kickstart Entertainment Picks Up Dear Dracula
The comic book was written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by Vincente Navarette and the story revolves around a young boy who loves horror movies and decides to start writing letters to Dracula, the same way children write letters to Santa Claus on Christmas.
Williamson and Navarette are writing the screenplay, but it doesn't seem that a director has been attached as of yet. Williamson and Navarette said in an interview with Comic Book Resources that the project was initially developed as a stop-motion film, but now it will be an animated film instead.
We've taken the book and just added a whole new level to it," Williamson said in the interview. "We've kept everything from the book and expanded on it. If people enjoyed the book, they're going to love the movie."
No production schedule was released for the film.

Vamp
I'm not too sure on this myself. I've never heard of the book/graphic novel, but if it's about vampires and Dracula, then I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway. Keep me poster, MovieWeb!!!!!
