Get ready to laugh with the original prankster uncut
Prepare the funny bones for some ticklin' because you're in for a treat today. The press junket for Kickin' It Old Skool just happened to fall the day after the rainiest weekend EVER in New York City. I'm talking deluge here, 8 and 1/2 inches of biblical rainfall. Being the intrepid reporter, I trekked my way to the Waldorf Astoria and find out that almost all of the other outlets (cough, pussies) weren't able to make it because of the flooding. Long story short, Dave from MTV radio and I find ourselves in a cozy little interview with the ridiculously hot Maria Menounos; who amazingly had never done a roundtable interview before.
We're about to get started when Jamie Kennedy, in the same get-up from the posters, strolls in with his breakdancing sidekick Casper. They plop down beside Maria and take over the interview completely. What happens next is forty-minutes of some of the funniest tape I've ever recorded. They mess with Maria, call out Michael Bay and Shia Lebouf, and reach a level of goofiness you never see at press events. You may be surprised if you think we Movieweb folk are a bunch of hacks, but we normally do a significant amount of editing on our pieces. But not this time, we figured that Jamie Kennedy and crew uncut would be far more entertaining. Mad props to Jamie for giving us some old school moves and a shoutout here:
