Personally, I thought Kevin Spacey was the only watchable thing about Superman Returns. So, it's great news that the bald one is back for more. According to Variety, Spacey has agreed to appear in the next two Superman flicks.

Details of the Superman Returns sequel, entitled Superman: The Man of Steel are being kept under wraps for now. But Spacey will apparently play a huge part in the storyline.

Michael Dougherty, who wrote last year's Superman effort returns to the writing chair for this second outing, as does director Bryan Singer.

The production team is planning a 2009 release date for the film.

Superman: Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.
