Kevin Smith screens Red State at wrap party
Here is what Kevin Smith said via his Twitter account:
"Tonight's historic: at our Red State wrap party, the cast/crew will watch the flick from end-to-end, edited: 92 mins, 98 w/credits."
Red State is comedy director Kevin Smith's first attempt at the horror genre. The plot follows a group of twenty-somethings who stumble into the terrors of a fundamentalist church smack-dab in the middle of America. The look and feel of this thriller is said by Smith to resemble something that might have played on a double-bill at the Drive-In in the early 70s.
Red State was released September 25th, 2011 and stars Melissa Leo, John Goodman, Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner, Stephen Root, Nicholas Braun, Kevin Pollak, Anna Gunn. The film is directed by Kevin Smith.

Maybe it'll be the first horror/thriller with intelligent dialogue... I like Smith when he's not pulling stupid stunts like getting tossed off planes and talking bout breaking toilets from being fat, curiously right before a movie of his comes out.
However, Clerks and Chasing Amy? Classic comedic gold. Smart, too.
