ABC Family has signed Kevin Murphy to write a one-hour drama, Nobody.

The show about a mom who sacrifices her identity to save her daughter, based on the comic book of the same name created by Alex Amado, Sharon Cho and Charlie Adlard. According to Variety, the show revolves around a woman, Jessica Drake, who exchanges her life as she knows it to save her daughter's, only to discover the price of cheating fate is being erased from the memories of her family and the world at large. Jessica winds up working for a covert ops branch of Heaven dedicated to protecting mankind from evil as a body without an identity, a "nobody."

Through the use of her newfound powers -- she can take on the forms of other people -- Jessica manages to carry out her work, while making sure her family is safe from harm.

Production on Nobody begins next month' casting is under way.
