Because everything depends on the parents of Sam Witwicky. Without them, the plot of the movie will suffer. The story will be completely bogged down by pointless dialogue. But these two will save it. Without question. No, wait, on second thought, who gives a sh*t about Sam Witwicky's douchebag parents?

Of course, they're returning. Now we can count on more pointless humor, and if we're luck, more hash cookies and puppy-leg-humping. yeah.
