Kevin Costner Leaves Django Unchained
Tarantino's revenge story, as of now, will feature Jamie Foxx as Django, a freed American slave who teams with a German bounty hunter to save his wife from Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), an evil plantation owner. The actor would have played Ace Woody, a henchman of Candie's, responsible for training the slaves to fight. Samuel L. Jackson is also set to star.
Django Unchained comes to theaters December 25th, 2012 and stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Gerald McRaney, Dennis Christopher, Kurt Russell, Laura Cayouette. The film is directed by Quentin Tarantino.

I'm very upset about this. I thought Costner would have been perfect for the role after reading up on nature of the character. Hopefully Quentin'll be able to find someone worthy of replacing him and, if lucky, better suited for the role.

Seems like a stupid move. Unless Jonathan Kent lives through Man Of Steel, I see no reason for him to leave what seems to be a meatier role in a possible Oscar contender.
